Still a little hard to believe but I finally acquired an 1133B, and a Transitional nonetheless! This has definitely been a grail watch for me--it's fascinated me for a long time.
I missed a few opportunities in the past (a couple of which still haunt me) but saw this one offered by another Heuer enthusiast/collector, who was just an absolute pleasure to deal with, and I found myself constantly looking at it to the point where I really wanted it.
While the dial is far from perfect, the metallic blue dial is no less captivating--it shows so many different shades of blue depending how the light hits it. It is in one word, mesmerizing!
I'm very excited to own this iconic watch as part of my very small vintage Heuer collection.
