Heuer Super Autavia Mk2 Dash clock chrono sweep hand

Looking for a bit of assistance on this dash clock I am looking at.

Is the red central seconds hand on this Heuer Mark 2 Super Autavia dashboard clock/timer incorrect? Were they ever factory fitted with the red “lance” hand as seen in this example #1 or always with the needle‑style with arrow balance as shown in example 2?
