then, someone offered two or three of these NOS patches, "found in the desk of an old mechanic", and the first few sold for between $100 and $200, as you might expect. Then we saw more NOS patches being offered, and the price goes below $100. Then we see more patches, and they are selling for between $30 and $50. And now, everyone has them and they sell for around $15 . . . still a nice profit above the cost of production, but not like when the first few hit the market.

once, there were only the authentic old patches offered on ebay and through other internet sources. they sold in the $100 to $200 range.
