The tachy markings on the dials of the two-button Monte Carlo are fairly common . . . maybe 20% to 30% of the two-button Monte Carlos have this feature.
Most of the bezels on the Monte Carlos (and other dashboard timers) are plain, and it is rare to find either the tachy bezel or the decimal minutes bezel, both shown below. maybe 5% to 10% of the two-button Montes have these "special" bezels.
I am uncertain which is older . . . To my eye, I like the plain (standard) dial and the special markings on the bezel.
