According to a fellow on another forum, "It's limited, and available in two editions: Steel (360 pieces, 8'500CHF) and gray gold (100 pieces, 18'000CHF)...it's in new Heuer catalogue."

They are going to be competing with Rolex's Daytona, a number of Zenith El-Primero's, a number of high-end Omega's at $6460 MSRP.

Wonder if anyone has seen this baby up close or ordered one from their dealer yet?

I haven't, in fact, I didn't know it was in the current TAG-Heuer catalog...

But you're probably right--it'll premiere officially at Basel.

If it can do what they claim it can do, the price for the SS version doesn't seem too high, IMO.

Well, it depends on the rest of the watch's specifications... What's it's water resistance, etc.
