Ralf, maybe you can shed a little....

light on a theory i have on cal 11 vs. cal 12 dials. for the most part most cal 11's i have seen have the 12,3,6,9 printed on the hour counter with the rest being line markers. see my pic example below......

the cal 12's tend to have 12,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 printed on the hour counter. see my pic example below....

what do you think of this theory? is it just a skewed perspective of mine from a very limited view of cal 11 and 12's (in the grand scheme) or is it possible this is true as a general rule, not counting some transition models that went from cal 11's to cal 12's? or ones that had dial changes by heuer during a servicing way back when, etc. thanks in advance!
