Does anyone know whether there is someone who can restore the grain on the case of an 1153? I've recently had mine restored & the chap concerned has given the case a highly polished finish. I requested that he return it to the original grained finish, but he's stated that he can't because the bezel is fixed & therefore gets in the way of the lathe. All suggestions gratefully received!
