Here is a shot taken by my future wife near Needle's Eye Tunnel and Rollins pass Colorado in July 1986. It was a rather inconvenient place to have a flat so you had to fix it or walk many miles. With the BMW single side swing arm it took only a half hour to put in a new tube* and be on our way. Most of that time was spent inflating the tire with a bicycle type pump. Riding the back country on a bike is the ultimate way to tour in my experience.
