interesting to me is how this came back from the Mission (1962), was briefly displayed (late 1960's), and then disappeared from sight for almost 40 years. Now, it returns, courtesy of a gentleman with a Treo camera phone (who saw it in San Diego), a posting of his two small photos (on another discussion forum), and some hours of digging in the NASA archives.
It will be interesting to see what -- if anything -- TAG-Heuer decides to do with this piece of history.
One of my "dream" / concept watches would be based on the Monte Carlo (with the distinctive hour disk); now, how about the "John Glenn Autavia"?
