Hello,
I've had conflicting advice recently about whether it's possible to restore the case of an over-restored (ie polished) Heuer Carrera 1153N to its original brushed state; several watchmakers I've been to have told me that it's not possible because the bezel was pressed on the case at the factory (& therefore cannot be removed to enable the case to be put under a lathe) but I've also been told that this bezel can in fact be removed quite easily. I'm unwilling to let someone have a go at doing this unless I'm pretty sure that they'll be able to remove the bezel without damaging the case, so any advice on this subject would be very welcome indeed!
Thank you,
Kayne.
