Notice that some are described as "factory rejects", with scratches and slight imperfections in the finish / pollish. Could this be correct or merely an excuse for the poor quality of the reproduced cases?
Can anyone solve this mystery, once and for all?
Should we have a contest -- give everyone one of these cases / dial sets, and see who can come up with the craziest looking "prototype"? Extra points for also creating the most convincing history / story to accompany the watch. GRAND PRIZE = two-pound bag of M&M's, plain or peanut.
