: OK, so someone jammed a Lemania 5100 movement
: and the dial / inner bezel of a Reference
: 510.403 Silverstone (shown below), into a
: Monaco case, and it's called a prototype?
:
: if the folks at Heuer did it, it's a rare
: prototype (interesting idea and perhaps
: valuable).
: if someone other than Heuer did it in their
: basement or workshop, then it qualifies as
: one of the ugliest looking fakes ever.
: Shaun: so what was the quality of the
: workmanship? done to Heuer standards or done
: in the basement? what was your overall
: impression of the piece?
: I love the 5100's and the Monacos, but I look
: at this one and can only say, "thank
: god they didn't produce the thing!!"
: all this in my humble and very respectful
: opinion. so what do others think?

My 2 cents crew;
The case needed to be modifided alot for the differnt Position of the pushers. I lot to ask of a butcher.
I was going to add. the min. and the second hand have differant colors, But I see the same on your Photo Jeff. so I keep quit on that point. Other than this, glad to see it. but I have no idea as to its provenence.
