I wouldn't know... I haven't had any problem with it working, but I'll mention it to Jeff next time I speak with him.

eMail me and I'll be happy to modify the address given in your previous posts. But I need to know which posts. The proper way to handle this is to email myself or Jeff Stein.

Of course, since the address is out of the bag, as it were, changing your old address won't prevent spammers from passing the address you had posted around. Spammers treat email addresses they've harvested as tradeable assets they can buy/sell to push more spam out. Changing the address on your old posts won't prevent your being spammed as your email address is already known to spammers.

How can I get a previous post deleted?

As a rule, we don't delete posts here. We'll honor polite requests for assistance in cases like yours to obscure an email address so that email harvester's can't glom onto an address.
