I traced it by the patent date. Found the patent drawings for an E. Heuer stopwatch patented on Feb. 14th 1888. Yes it is a swans neck regulator. And it is in beautiful condition. I don't know if it is appropiate on this forum, but I just listed it on ebay with a lot more pics. I would love to keep it, but I have too many watches.
