I don't recognize any element of the watch as being made by Heuer. The story about this being the last of the "no-names", before the introduction of the Carrera model, also makes no sense to me. Lots of people sell lots of watches as being "pre-Carreras", but the Heuer catalogs of the period showed the pre-Carrera chronos (and none of them match this one or many of the others that we see offered.)
my advice would be to stay away and spend your money on one of the real ones -- Carrera or pre-Carrera.
