Lafayette Square Mall, I spent many an afternoon there during the Summer of 1973... My mom would dump me off at the mall while she and my sister would do the Laundromat and I'd hit Spencer's Gifts, and all the places that carried 45's for an hour or two before it was time to be picked up to do the rest of the week's shopping. Chances are I wasn't looking at $200+ watches at that time (although even then, I would have loved to have been in the market for one).

Have you ever thought of re-visiting Indy and that store and inquiring about getting a spare example of the one you bought back in 1968 David?
