Heuer Pasadena 280 GX Question

I have a Heuer Pasadena 750-501 280 GX PVD that I have owned since new.

I have seen other Pasadena models usually referred to as 280 SL.

What is the difference between the SL and the GX?

It is PVD black with a black kinda smooth bracelet and it says Pasadena under the date window on the the dial.
