: Can anyone please tell me where I can buy the
: digital part of a Manhattan watch? I believe
: the part is called a Calibre 4. My wife gave
: me the watch in the Seventies and it has
: great sentimental value.
Clive,
Fortunately I was IMing with Georges Z. from this forum's Omega counterpart and he recommended trying the "La Passion des Montres" link at the bottom of this post...
As Georges typed: “ felow name is charly he restores and services quartz as well as any kind of mechanical watch even tourbillons, complications, rattrapantes, etc. he worked for rolex before and knows how to restore all chronograph movements even the ones that are not produced anymore”
Sounds like a good guy to know...
In addition to that, I would recommend trying to find the French equivelent of the TAG-Heuer/LVMH Service facility in Springfield New Jersey. They might have ideas/options...
[BTW, I deleted your duplicate message, if people can help one message is just as effective as several.]
Good Hunting and we're all pulling for you!
