Phew what a relief when this was finally delivered after a 2 1/2 week wait , so much for USPS Global Priority Air and I must admit I was starting to get a bit worried . Anyway, on to the watch.............
An Autavia 2446C and I'm very pleased to say it's exactly as described by the seller in every respect , case and back in very good condition with only some minor swirly marks , dial is very clean with a nice patina, lume needs touching up on the minute hand. Only flaw is a small ding on the bezel which is visible in the pics but doesn't look anywhere near as bad in the flesh, maybe I'll find a better replacement sometime. I've put it on a Di-Modell perforated for now until I can find an 18mm Heuer buckle, I haven't taken the back off yet but will maybe add a pic of the movement tomorrow if I can get it off my wrist for long enough :) .
My pictures really don't do it justice ........
Ron
p.s. It's the second Heuer I've owned , the other was a model 404 (I think) ,looks exactly like a 2 register 60's silver dialed chrome hands and batons Carrera but doesn't say Carrera on the dial - long gone unfortunately :(
I bought it from a forum poster here by the name of vulcan20 and it was a well informed speedy honest Transatlantic transaction :) , Thanks Steve.
