it never occured to me that OnTheDash would develop, as it has over these past four years.

The idea -- when we launched the site -- was that I would show the dashboard timers, and I hoped that someone else would do a website for the chronographs. At that time, I only owned a handful of the chronographs, and knew little about them.

people started sending me photos; people started creating tables and charts; people started scanning catalogs, brochures, booklets and advertisements . . . and then we started the Discussion Forum . . . and soon we had the whole Chronocentric / OnTheDash thing.

of course, the "To Do" list is longer than ever -- we need to add a Camaro table, complete the Carrera table, add links all over the place, finish the "Racers Only" section, update the Discussion Forums and add some new ones . . . and so it continues. with a sabbatical to work on the websites, a techie and some interns, we could really take it to the next level. because that is not likely to happen, we will continue to chip away at it, one image at a time / one page at a time / one message at a time.
