I would beleive that!
I had a Kentucky with a custom fit bracelet soldered on... I aquired a NOS bracelet only to discover that the case part that the bracelet connected to was broken off. Yes broken off!
So the custom JB bracelet fitting was explained. The watch now lives elsewhere! Worked fine and looked really nice!
