gold-filled always seems to go at a discount, in the world of Heuers. remember the phrases "tool-watch" or "sports watch" . . . the gold always looks out of place to me.

even 18-karat does not seem to attract much of a premium in the Heuers.

back to the tool idea . . . what would you pay for gold-plated wrenches?
