Newly acquired Gallet once owned by twice F1 champion, and 1965 Indy 500 champ, Jim Clark. Just contacted Gallet and they said it was produced between 1962 & 1964. Gallet is about to come out with their own book of Gallet history and have asked to use pics of this watch. Prior owner was a Ford engine engineer for the Chapman Lotus team at Indy and was given the watch during a qualification timing run. I also have a letter of authentication. It looks like it's been serviced one time in 1976 and has the Excelsior Park movement. Still keeps great time and a pretty cool watch.
