Autavia 1163MH -- Comparison Coming Soon

just today, someone pointed out that there are in fact three versions of the Autavia, Reference 1163MH, as follows:

  • first version is the very rare "Chronomatic", with serrated / grooved hour markers (with luminous at the ends).

  • second version has "Autavia" at the top, but retains the serrated / grooved hour markers (with luminous at the ends).

  • on the third version, serrated / grooved hour markers are replaced with the Viceroy-style markers (polished markers with white inserts, luminous at the ends).

all versions have Minute / Hour bezel, numerals 3-6-9-12 on the hour recorder, and polished steel hands with luminous inserts (but no red or black in the hands).

It's interesting that we continue to discover these differences, even after we think that we have identified most of the versions and variations. I will plan to do a full comparison table, sometime soon.
