Hi Heuer Lovers, my wife iris has finally finisched the new web pagewww.classicheuer.de

( thanks Iris you are thebest!!!)

Please , you are welcome to visit our new designed page and let us know if you find it OK, how you like the informations, Watches, extras....and so on....

Ok, you asked forit...

Because of the wide variety of websites I access in a given day, I have to run a "Pop-Up" window blocker. Hence, your site has a pane which I have to click through the pop-up blocker A LOT. Like nearly every page. It's really annoying to have to click multiple times just to see content. Just so you know. Then when I get through the pop-up blocker I run into item two below:

In the sales section (and I would assume other sections as well) one has to download 187k or so of "stuff" just to look at a picture of a single watch. Now, I'm on a "High-speed" DSL line these days (or what my DSL provider calls "High-Speed" anyway) but that's a lot of overhead (and time to wait for downloading) especially if it's not a watch I'm particularly interested in looking at. I don't collect many two-register watches (only one's with hour indications), so 7733's, 7734's, Val. 92's etc. are lost on me. Is there some way where one can get a thumbnail of your entire spread of watches for sale (or even just the specific Carrera's, Montreal's, etc.) without having to download upwards of 200k for each watch even if it is of no interest to me? Also remember that many people are still on dial-up phone lines for internet content. If folks have to download a lot of stuff, they'll get frustrated and move on.

Link buttons: They appear to "flow" with the text around them. In other words, if the amount of text is small, they appear closer to the top than if there is more text. It'd be great if navigation buttons were placed consistantly so that folks could leave their mouse hovering over the "Next" button and concentrate on the other content. Also, it seems that "Back" buttons within the sections are missing. What if I want to go back to the immediately proceeding page? I have to mouse up to my browser's forward/back buttons and hope they will work properly. Go through the Heuer History section, you'll see what I mean. If it could be arranged to have forward and back buttons in consistant places on each of the appropriate pages, it would make navigation easier.

One last item... For some reason there is a fixed 100 pixel border around the main active portion of your site. Here's an illustration:

I run my desktop Mac's on a 23" LCD Cinema Display. but even with that huge screen (above average) desktop real estate is at a premium. And when I'm on my laptop, I run 12" displays! The wide margins on your site means I can't have ready access to other windows I need, and I am forced to either scroll left and right a lot, or live with all that waste space. Sure wide margin's can be nice, but they can be detrimental to the over all experience too.

Aside from that, the rest of the site looks very nice and is attractive.

In the new page you will find a little of my collection, watches for sales, our watch service for repairs, parts and watch fair detailtstoo.

AND ITS IN ENGLISH NOWTOO!!!!

That certainly helps! Thanks!

So please if you find any mistakes , plse let us know/ email me tojasperbitter@aol.com.

Ok, I have cut out the issue I noted, I'll send it via email.

Thanks for your help and greetings Jasper Bitter

I hope you don't mind the thoughts, they are offered constructively. A quicker, faster to load, more convenient to navigate, and "tighter" site would be one I'd frequent more often.
