: Hello Lyle, I'm the owner of the skipper your
: talking about, and I can assure you it's
: authentic. The LEONIDAS series of Easy Rider
: Chronographs only came in Black, Red, Gray
: and Yellow.. No Blue. Any Blue cases will be
: the Skipper model. Besides that, there would
: be no value for anyone to go to the trouble
: to make one.. don't you think..
Nelson,
First of all, I want to sincerely apologies for my uncomplimentary comment about your Heuer Skipper. It was thoughtless and I hope you were not insulted.
It's fairly common to see posts on this forum that express personal opinion concerning the inherent "beauty" in a particular watch (or lack of). Again, I'm sorry for not considering the audience of this world-wide forum before posting anything negative.
Best of luck on selling your piece. It is truly an uncommon watch.
Lyle
