ATG Spring 2007 Competition!

Well it is competition time again and I thought I would put forward a competition to celebrate Spring and the plans that people may be making for travelling over the Summer and it will be run along the same lines as the last competitions.

To find out more just search 'Competition' on the forum to see previous entries.

The competition theme is inspired by Jorn from Linde Werdelin who have a 'travelling Collection' which is essentially a way that you can 'Lease' a LW Biformeter watch for a short time before deciding to purchase. Which I think is a great idea.

So to the Competition Question: Which watch to wear for which type of travel!

* We need to see both a watch and a means of transport, the best suited will go to a Poll vote like last time.

* You don't have to own the watch or vehicle or it could be a watch and a place, just as long as you can show a picture of both items.

* The competition entries will run until the 18th of June, one months time.

* I will then make the selection and members can vote on a poll that I will set up.

* NB: Please begin your posts with ATG Spring 2007 Competition!

The Prizes!

In the past after speaking to may people involved and reading comments on other posts I have chosen the 'Top Ten'. The ten will receive quite a nice Linde Werdelin Book and the post that receives the most votes will receive a really nice vintage chronograph by the 60's French manufacturer LeJour.

The watch is a two register chronograph in steel with a fantastic gloss black dial. The watch is quite big and although it has seen some action it has had a the ATG treatment and it looks outstanding. Review the pictures below.

Anyway get posting and good luck!

Regards

Alistair
