: So if the rest of us buy these pilot's
: chronographs, will you contiunue the lessons
: on how to use them??
Sure, why not? They aren't that difficult to learn
: very interesting message . . . Having ditched
: the slide rule in 1973, when I took my last
: science class, I had been afraid of these
: calculator watches. But now it seems as
: though it might be useful to own one of
: these Whiz Wheels (particularly if the
: tutorials will continue).
I was in the last class at my school before they gave in and let calculators be used in class... Up until then the wouldn't allow any calculator, but would allow you to use a slide rule (because a calculator needs batterys and a slide rule doesn't was one of their favorite arguments)... So I taught myself how to use them... They are a great tool, and like the Curta and watches... another fascinating area to collect examples!
: great message!
: Jeff
Thank you Jeff... I do try!
