The ingredients are:
1. Ever so subtle hints, either eBay related or otherwise.
2. A wife with great taste and an appreciation for the finer things ( Heuer )
3. Lots of love.
4. Returning the favor. ( in my case, I design jewelry and have it made for her by a good friend of mine )
There have been a couple of surprises, among them the Cal.15 Silverburst, a Carrera 12 white on black, my wedding gift. I can't tell you how to cultivate this behavior. It is inate. All I can say is I am a very fortunate man to have such a wonderful wife.
