To me, the BW dial and hands look very natural in the Caliber 12 case . . . a shame that it never went into serial production.

I have seen a few of these, from time-to-time, over the years . . . maybe a total of three or four, over the past five years. I believe that they were done as prototypes or studies, however, the idea of using the Caliber 12 in the Bundeswehr chronograph never went into production. Maybe it was the size or maybe the absence of flyback feature.
