Hi All, newbie here on this forum but not to watches. I'm really after some advice on this Heuer pictured, so thought I would ask here as you guys seem to know your stuff.

It's my father’s watch that he's had for about 30 years. It was originally purchased in 1976 for £80 all though it might be older? The only information we have is the Serial Number 73321

The only time the watch has been off his wrist was in 2000 when it was sent back to Heuer for a service \ overhaul at a cost of £168.

I've trying to find out any model information as well as movement used. I was thinking Valjoux 7733 ? But haven't confirmed this as I don't want to remove the back.

Again any information would be appreciated.
