Hi all,
I posted a message yesterday but noticed today that it has disappeared somehow. can it be that it was covered by another message on the screen??
Anyhow, the question was: Until what year has Heuer been supplying Carreras, Autavias with a blank crown? Without the Heuer logo I mean.
I have one Autavia 45 with dauphine hands and one Carrera Dato 45 ( black+white, one subdial)with a blank crown. Got the Autavia from my father and known its original.
Is is possible to determine the year of production with this info? I remember my father had the Autavia when I was 7 or 8 years old. This means it must be 1965/1966.
Could this be correct? By the way, the Carrera has exactly the same style subdial as the Autavia.
Hope this message remains visible...
