Re: More on David Raven and podcasts...

If you like a VERY good radio station I recommend: STU BRU = Studio brussel: they have a VERY good homepage shoing every tracklist you want in minutes.

Unfortunatelly I stopped MP3 eta l: I only am into "real music". Saturday moring STU BRU has the best and newest electroni music: electro, techno, house et al I know from radio (despite evosonic radio, which had live music from clubs all over the world: however close s they played zero (0) commercials!)

So if you have a chance to hear STU BRU: may be also nice for your style of music!

: In Response To: Congratulations! And I listen
: to BFBS 2 myself! [sort of] (Chicagoland
: Chuck Maddox)

: Main reason I listen to BFBS 2 is:

: - they play a lot of "old school"
: electronic music from the early time
: (1985-1995). New Age? Ambient? Space
: Music?

: Those are all forms of music I listen to a lot
: via Podcasts. You can subscribe to them [via
: Apple's iTunes - for FREE] from the iTunes
: program [also a free download]. Just click
: on iTunes Store, then Podcasts and do some
: searches. Here's a screen snap of some of
: the podcasts I subscribe to:

: a pitty is, that they never have any playlist
: available online and never react to any
: mails requesting song details...
: Interestingly enough, David Raven provides
: tracklists and links to where you can buy
: CD's [in most instances] going back to
: January 2001 on his BFBS website:
: BFBS Radio 2: The Raven 'n' the Blues:

: Perhaps you can enlist his
: aid, or seek to have your BFBS program made
: available via a Podcast too.

: On a related note. David Raven suffered a mild
: stroke in December and has been recovering
: ever since. He's been in fine voice the last
: several shows though so I would ask you not
: put too much on his lap.

: Yes this volo is nice too: but will not catch
: the 4,9 seconds from 0-100 km/h..... I
: think short of droping an American V-8 under
: the hood, or droping the 1800ES off of a
: cliff it won't reach 0-60 or even 0-100kph
: anywhere near the 5 second mark.

: (compare

: porsche 996 carrera: 5,4 seconds;

: porsche 996 carrera 4: 5,0 seconds;

: porsche 997 carrera: 5,1 seconds;

: porsche 997 carrera 4: 4,8 seconds)

: pitty BMW is limiting at 250 km/h: already
: the "normal 3.0 liter non M- engine is
: 300+) But then again the 1800ES was a
: different car, built for a different purpose
: in a different era [35 years ago]. It's a
: damn shame that they only made 8,000 of the
: 1800ES's. It was a beautiful design.

: Congrats again on your new "mode"!
