Thank you Jeff for this very interesting reply.
I like very much some aspects of various vintage Breitling chronographs (the bezel on this, the case on the other, the hands on another one), but I can't say that there is a vintage Breitling chrono where everything smiles to me and creates a perfect "whole" that's more than the sum of its parts... but maybe one day I will change opinion. Like Chuck has said in an old post, people change interest and may always discover new things to like or start to see things differently...
And yes, the price premium for some Breitling models, puts me off as well.
