Gentlemen:

This has been a terrible, unthinkable week for all of us, as we lost the gentleman who, in fact, made this community possible. Yes, it was Chuck who encouraged (pushed) me to create OnTheDash, and, yes, it was Chuck who suggested that a Discussion Forum might be good to have. Of course, he was with us every day, posting and scanning and writing (and sometimes policing this Forum).

Still, the very first Heuer Collectors Summit occurs in just a few days, and I hope that those attending will have a fantastic time. Please raise your glasses to Chuck at some point, realizing that his ideas and energy helped to create and shape all this!! I also hope that those attending will report back to us, with photos and messages, either in real time or soon after your return.

I will also have a nice surprise for the group, immediately after the Summit . . . but more about that later!!
