Hi Chuck, Jeff and other experts,

I noticed that two different individuals regularly offer "new" crystals for the '70s Monaco through e-mail auctions. One is from the U.S., the other one from -yes again- Austria?

Does anyone have experience with the products they sell? I have the feeling it concerns reproductions and do not know whether they fit and are as clear as the original. They sold for between USD 30,- and 60,-.

I'm afraid I don't, but then again I'm not a Monaco owner. In fact (sorry guys and gals) I'm not a big Monaco fan. I'm about the biggest Steve McQueen/LeMans fan in the world, but the Monaco's looks have just never moved me. Perhaps if the right vintage model came along.

Sorry, but I know that there are a couple of sellers on eBay from Austrailia (OZ) who frequently sell vintage Omega and Heuer replacement parts and the all have good reps.
