I saw the one that you bought, on Italian ebay (linked below), and between the dollar being too weak and the colors on the bezel being too strong, I stayed away. I had the same reaction as you -- that the bezel seemed to be from a Rolex.
I assume that this is a 11630 GMT (or is it the 11063 -- ??). It seems to have a different bezel from the one shown in the Heuer catalog. The shapes and locations of some of the numbers are different, and the Heuers have "dashes" in place of the odd numbers and this one has "dots".
Please let me know what reference number is on the one that you bought, and some additional photos would be great.
Thanks,
Jeff

: Hi I bought this example but have been away for
: a while and not able to respond.
: I have wanted a GMT for a while because I have
: an original box and wanted to make the set
: so I will have a look at the condition of
: this one because it did not look too bad on
: ebay.
: My only concern was the bezel, most GMTs I have
: seen have a very faded bezel and the one
: fitted to this one looks more like a rolex
: gmt bezel.
: any opinions ?
: happy new year to everyone
