I am planning to reorganize and expand the section of OnTheDash covering the period 1945 to 1963 (when they started putting the model names on the dials) . . . these are great looking watches (to my eye), though it is difficult to track the reference numbers.
It would be great to have additional photos of watches from this period!!

: I think these old Heuers is much underrated. People seems just
: focus on Carrera, Monaco and the other famous models from the
: 60-70s. I have four Heuer chronographs from 1930-50s, and enjoy
: them a lot.
: The only problem is that there is very little information to find
: about these old clunkers... It would be very nice if there was a
: section at "On the dash" covering this period.
