So if we wanted a fixed (non-rotating) bezel, then we can choose the Speedmaster. But for an Autavia, Heuer's ultimate "tool watch", the bezel should rotate (in my opinion). I can forgive the other compromises (for example, not having an hour recorder), but not this omission.

Hi Steve, I agree with all you've said but IMO, and pls. note I am not a hot Autavia fan, the real missing feature is the turning bezel, which was so distinctive of heyday Autavias.
