This is the one that has always escaped my grasp -- I missed one in Hungary (becuase I didn't have time to get to the bank to wire the money); I did send the money to a crook in Chile, who was kind enough to send me an empty envelope (but I did manage to get the money back, through some hard work with American Express); and, of course, there were the two or three where I was the second place bidder on ebay.
But now I am wearing this chronograph . . . at a quick glance, it seems to be all original (and has aged accordingly) . . . it certainly conveys the feeling that it has seen some "action" . . . I am not visualizing an aircraft going into battle, but maybe an acrobat display of the "Tricolore", over Lake Como, on a beautiful summer day?
This is the easiest contest yet -- who can identify this watch?
