Good work Jeff.
An era that I find interesting- but one which is still uncomfortable to discuss in many ways- is the story of how the company survived the quartz revolution. I was fascinated at the collectors summit to hear that in the early 1980's 9/ 10 time pieces sold were timers and not watches. Most of us don't have a great love for these quartz models, or the Chrono's of the 80's and 90's, but without them, the company and brand would be dead for sure.
Not many industry sectors basically die (Swiss chrono watch-making), only to rebound a decade later and go from strength to strength. A great story!
