Some day, maybe we can explore this era . . . the near-death / back from the brink experience!!

: Good work Jeff.
: An era that I find interesting- but one which is still
: uncomfortable to discuss in many ways- is the story of how the
: company survived the quartz revolution. I was fascinated at the
: collectors summit to hear that in the early 1980's 9/ 10 time
: pieces sold were timers and not watches. Most of us don't have a
: great love for these quartz models, or the Chrono's of the 80's
: and 90's, but without them, the company and brand would be dead
: for sure.
: Not many industry sectors basically die (Swiss chrono
: watch-making), only to rebound a decade later and go from
: strength to strength. A great story!
