Hello- I'm not a real big watch person, I own several beaters a decent Movado, etc but I've always wanted a Tag Heuer. A little while ago when I was about to purchase an older Tag, I was offered one in really nice shape for a good price. I was worried I was being taken, but for the price I risked it, plus I do business with the guy regularly. Anyway, this watch is a WK1112 and I love it. But it also has a unique logo on the face in the 3 o'clock inside the date. I can not figure out what it is. Any help would be appreciated. I will try to get some good pics of it to make out the details.
The other identifier on the back is ET4900
The logo is a green circle or crescent with a white background. A gold eagle w/ 7 smaller stars around a bigger yellow star. The crest on the eagle's chest has colored bands black, white, green in that order with red at the top. This is similar to the United Arab Emirates flag, although I'm not sure if that's a coincidence.
Anyone? Any way to figure out what's up with this?
Thanks much, Rich
