Amazing price paid for this 70's Heuer Digital Clock

I could hardly beleive my eyes when i saw the price this '77 digital clock sold for. I did not bid for this item as i already have the square model ( the one that looks like its coming out of the table ).
I also prefer the design of the one i have over the one i am linking from the ebay auction.
How do you feel about this item ? How rare are they? Who has one?
