Hi Jasper, It was great to meet you, George and myself had a great day out. As we arrived a Lancaster bomber was circling overhead like a giant dragon. The whole event is truly amazing with Thousands of vintage cars costumes and props, with period police patroling,Dads army marching and even Laurel and Hardy drove past and said hello, which made Georges day. I only got to see one race as there was too much to do. I was overwhelmed by its size as i had not been back for many years, i still managed to sit in the deck chairs, sipping cider while watching spitfires take-off....
On the way home George said "Daddy new cars are rubbish arn't they" which i thought was great.
FANTASTIC Day! true i did have a rolex on but a case full of our Beloved Heuers.
