So what do we get here the coming months, next year: a deflation of prices in the real world sector....and with this a lowering of watch prices?

Obvious I have seen a lot of beautiful and rather scarce time pieces the last 8 weeks. Still they make it to normal price level. However I have also seen some drop or "regular watch models": e.g. the 1806 navitimer you can get around 1200-1350 euro now. ok some luck needed still but 6 months back we have seen them at 1600-1650 euro. among others we have seen at leat 5 1000 m omega ploprofs and same number of big blues. prices slightly dropped. the lowest 1000 m was offered for 7500 euro to me: MINT nd fully serviced.

Yes the USD is stroner and gets may be stronger too, so some shift now the other direction.

Autavias have gained a lot of momentum. There is virtually nothing below 1750- 2000 usd ...without bracelet. So here we see some increase. For my opinion this comes from the fact, that the market was already very dry in this model.

Market of spare parts is still very very hot. Have seen alot of parts now, people kept in their drawers: not only monaco but also breitling and autavia stuff.

Yes and Mint Siffers selling at 4000 euro mark now (jeff please adjust...again :-).....

So what have you seen and what is your own impression: what can we expect from 2009...will we see a christmas watch race in 2008....and do we get a maddox flee market inbetween the years? So actually 4 questions now :-)
