Chuck`s Flea Market: Breitling Navitimer GMT 2115

How many have we seen of this beauty over the past years. Think we still are under 15. Its hard to understand why these guys in the 70s did not buy this model more frequently: may be all did stick to the normal/regular Navitimer 1806. Thus as Arne already told us in his post: a holy grail GMT.

The one offered here is the second best after my NOS one. Some months ago. Jeff's (now Arne's) was the second best, but I found this bauty and have to admit its in much better conditions.

The quality of these watches is mostly determined via the color of the outer tachy ring. Here we saw a lot of posts over the past years. We could observe a disoloration of the outer ring from blue/purple to brown ending up in brown with the poorest models. The one offerdd here as a near perfect blue/purple tachy and also the maize color is perfect.

Here a brief description:

- dial hands are second best I ever hold in my hands: only my NOS one is better.
- hands inserts and markers are outstanding in the dark: that is an indicate that the watch slept a long time in the dark
- bezel is near flawless
- outer GMT dial is nearly perfect in blue/maize color: stored in the dark
- case some signs of wear: nothing strange
- case back has original numbers (2115) engraved. also shows some signs of wear
- fully working
- no bracelet
- crystal nearly perfect: 1-2 slight scraches: nothing you cant polsh away with displex(R)
- clean movement of course

These watches went up for 3800 - 4500 euro during the good times. I am offering mine here for 3200 euro including ww-shipping. No paypal at this price range = bank wire only.

I am travelling (still) over christmas and have limited acess to my mailbox. However will try to answer all open questions accordingly.

Happy Christmas and New Year: Hope Everything is going to be alright next year !
