my favorite branch of the family tree is the screw-back Autavias. The screw-back GMT is super rare, and amazing looking, to my eye. another instance in which they may have gotten it right the first time, and we must wonder why they made the change. I suppose that the improved waterproof quality of the snap-back (2446C) was preferred, but the smaller, shaped lugs look so much better on the earlier one.
Shown below is the younger, poorer cousin of this Autavia GMT.
