Hi Jeff,

this seems the most appropriate time to ask , What is the most effective way of cleaning up the tar residue from an old Monaco seal.
Suggestions , answers , tutorials & pictures welcome from any and/or all forum readers.

: This "tar baby" will need a good cleaning, and there
: will probably will be some paint loss in the process, but it is
: still nice to greet this Monaco, as a late arrival to our 40th
: birthday celebration. I have owned two of these; parted with
: both of them; just had to give it one more try. Beautiful patina
: on the hands and dots; wish me good luck with the "tar
: removal".
