I guess to answer your question, no it is not possible to tell from your picture. The best way is to start with the outside and then look at the movement. From the outside it appears to be the real deal. But I have a fake Breitling with a quartz movement that you can't tell from the outside. I wear it as a beater and only paid $75 for it.
